SMITH: Herman A. Smith, age 96, of Squirrel Hill, passed away on July 16, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Selma and Marlene. Loving father of Es (Richard) Cohen, Bonnie (Steve) Koski and the late Jay (surviving wife Jill) Smith. Devoted grandfather of Justin (Sara) Presser, Matthew (Justine) Presser, Kaela (Andy) Filipek, and Zachary (fiancée Jenna Mates) Smith. Proud great-grandfather of Jackson Filipek, Sloane Presser, Harlow Presser, Caleb Presser and the late Shayna Presser. Loving brother of the late Rose Selkowitz, Sylvia Davis, Ethel Ritt, and Della Weiss. Visitation at the D’Alessandro Funeral & Crematory Ltd., Butler at 46th Street, Lawrenceville, Sunday July 21 from 10 until time of service at 10:30 a.m. Interment Kether Torah Cemetery.
