Later, he pioneered anti-bacterial contact lenses with a patented process. He and his wife Estelle founded Biosafe Inc., which developed a patented process for bonding anti-bacterial compound permanently into plastic. Chuck had a wonderful sense of humor and continually made those around him smile and laugh. He retained his sense of humor to his last hours. He passed away quietly in the Family Hospice at Canterbury Place, with his loved ones at his side. Funeral service was at Beth Shalom Cemetery, Friday, June 14.
