SHERMAN: On Thursday, October 22, 2009, Sylvia Sherman,90, of Squirrel Hill, formerly of Philadelphia and Chicago; beloved wife of the late Milton Sherman; loving mother of Sheila Richman of Wyncote, Pa, Aryeh (Rochelle) Sherman of Pt. Breeze, PA and Kenny (Zehava) Sherman of Israel; devoted daughter of the late William and Anna Litt Chester; dear sister of the late Simon Chester; cherished grandmother of Aaron (Ety) Richman, Bryan (Liat) Richman, Geoffrey Richman, Sarah Richman, Yaniv (Shawna) Sherman, Ilan (Elicia) Sherman, Moshe (Kate) Sherman, Ety Sherman, Yaron Sherman and Sheron Sherman; doting great grandmother of nine. Graveside services and interment were held at Agudath Achim Cemetery, Forest Hills. Contributions may be made to the Jewish Family and Children’s Services, 5743 Bartlett Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15217.
