BERER: On Saturday, April 25, 2009, Shoal P. Berer, beloved husband of Ruth Berer and the late Dorothy S. Berer; beloved father of Marge Berer of London, England and Stephen M. (Nancy) Berer of Van Nuys, CA; step-father of David (Emily Kenyon) Lipsky of Oakland, CA, Dina Lipsky of Israel, Sarah (Tim Doyle) Lipsky of Chatham, NY, Larry (Blair) Belkin and Stewart (Carol) Belkin, both of Winchester, VA, Roberta (Dr. Samuel) Pepkowitz of Calabasas, CA and; brother of the late Clarice Oshry and Murry Berer; brother-in-law of Gertrude Leof; grandfather of Josh and Cal Berer; uncle of Ed Leof, Marge Leof, Dee Jay Oshry and Bart Rack, Elliott Oshry and Eleanor Siegal; also survived by nieces, nephews and many step-grandchildren. Services were held at Temple David. Interment Temple Sinai Memorial Park.
