GUNNING: On Tuesday, June 30, 2009, in Lester, PA, Ruth Sharon (Sherry) Parker Gunning, 49; wife of Sean Gunning of Lester; mother of Matthew Colt, 8; daughter of Edith Schmelzer Parker of Pleasant Hills and Earl M. (late Elaine) Parker of Pittsburgh; sister of David Allen Parker of MA; granddaughter of the late Morris and Minnie Schmelzer and the late Samuel and Goldie Parker; niece of the late Burton (Evelyn) Schmelzer, Sanford Schmelzer, Rose (Alex) Cohen and Sylvia (George) Nydes; also survived by family in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, California and Maryland. A memorial service was held in Norwood, PA. Contributions may be made to Pittsburgh Chapter of Hadassah, 1824 Murray Avenue, Pgh., PA 15217.
