The graduates are professionals in Jewish organizations that want to bring a greater understanding of Jewish teachings into their work and lives.

Rabbi Danny Schiff has taught many in classes like Melton, both in-person and virtually. Thanks to a legacy endowment from H. Arnold and Adrien B. Gefsky, adult education won't end any time soon in the city. On Thursday, May 24 the Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning students, 2017-18, graduated after two years of Melton study. The graduates are shown with two Melton teachers: Foundation Scholar Rabbi Danny Schiff and Danielle Kranjec, senior Jewish educator at Hillel Jewish University.

These graduates are professionals in Jewish organizations that want to bring a greater understanding of Jewish teachings into their work and lives. In Pittsburgh, the Melton School is a program of the Jewish Community Foundation of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh and is underwritten by the Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning Endowment Fund, established by the Edgar Snyder family.
