William Emanuel Lebeau
William Emanuel Lebeau, M.D., of Waco died peacefully in his sleep Friday, Feb. 11, 2011, following a recent course of pneumonia. A memorial service was held on February 16. William was born Aug. 11, 1922, in Pittsburgh, Pa., to Samuel and Regina Lebeau. He has been lifelong Jewish (Reform). He was a practicing psychiatrist for 55 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Samuel I. and Regina (Gluck) Lebeau; first wife, Marion Berger Lebeau; one brother, Leonard Klineman; one sister, Lucille Klineman Cooper; and one of his many cousins, Samuel “Red” Cohen. He is survived by his second wife, Christine Lebeau of Waco; one daughter, Carolyn Lebeau Hughes of Pittsburgh; one son, Jonathan Samuel Lebeau and wife, Meng Wu, of Lexington, S.C.; several nephews and nieces, including Maxine Cooper Willis and Lawrence S. Cooper; a cousin, Martin Gluck and wife, Susie, of Dallas; a sister-in-law, Janet G. Klineman; and grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.
