Students participated in hands-on activities including harvesting and preparing horseradish; cooking handmade pita on an open fire; making prints using natural materials to create Sukkah decorations; picking mint to make tea and collecting wildflower seeds to make paper; cooking salsa verde with tomatillos and other ingredients from the CDS gardens and planting blueberry bushes and pawpaw trees.
