Ronald Friedken
FRIEDKEN: Ronald Friedken, 86, of State College, passed away peacefully at home on August 28, 2016. Ron, formerly of Monroeville, had been a resident of State College for the past year. He leaves behind his best friend and loving wife of 58 years, Florinne Felser Friedken; daughter, Linda Bennett; son, Larry (Lonni) Friedken; grandchildren, Elizabeth Bennett, Gregory Bennett, Jamie Friedken, and Nicholas Friedken; sisters, Shirley Lippman, Raye (Harry) Coffey; and brother-in-law Chickie (Annette) Felser. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Ike Friedken; sister, Selma (Max) Stein; and brother-in-law, Byron Lippman. Ron served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He had a long career as a pharmacist and was a University of Pittsburgh, School of Pharmacy graduate (1960). Services to remain private.
