Nina Jacobs Bat Mitzvah Announcement
Nina Jacobs will become a bat mitzvah on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026 at Temple Ohav Shalom. She is the daughter of Sam and Kristina Jacobs, and the granddaughter of Susan and Les Jacobs, and Kathy and Gene Soriano. Nina will be supported and celebrated by her grandparents, along with many other beloved family members and friends. Nina is currently an eighth grader in the North Allegheny School District, where she has cultivated a strong passion for theater and singing. In addition to her involvement in the arts, she is a competitive swimmer and enjoys music, dancing, sushi, the Marvel Comics Universe and above all, spending quality time with the people she loves. For her bat mitzvah project, Nina has chosen to fundraise for Rex Arts, an organization that partners with local recreation departments to provide affordable, educational performance opportunities for students, and works with nonprofits to bring free arts programming to historically underserved communities. Nina is deeply grateful to share this meaningful milestone with her friends, family, and the entire Temple Ohav Shalom community.
