Mark S. Pechersky
PECHERSKY: Mark S. Pechersky, age 79, surrounded by his many loved ones, passed away on Aug. 14, 2026. Survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Debbie Pechersky; his sons, Brett (Mindy) Pechersky and David (Laura) Pechersky, and his daughter, Liz (Eric) Greenfield; brother to Jack Pechersky and Eve Hadburg. Grandfather to Sara and Aidan Pechersky; Sasha and Theo Pechersky; Ella and Levi Greenfield. He attended Taylor Allderdice High School, the University of Pittsburgh, and the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. As a pediatric dentist, his calm presence was the kind of care his patients will always remember. He found peace in his garden and tremendous joy with his family and friends. Arrangements were entrusted to Gesher Ha-chaim. Funeral service was held at Chabad of Squirrel Hill with a burial service following at Homewood Cemetery.
