FOREMAN: Maj. Martin Paul Foreman, USAF (Ret.) May 24, 1935 – Oct. 5, 2026. Major Martin Paul Foreman passed away on Oct. 5, 2026, after an extended illness. Born on May 24, 1935, to Joseph and Esther Foreman, Martin lived a distinguished life marked by service, learning, travel and family. Martin earned degrees from Duquesne University and the University of Southern California. He served as a career officer in the United States Air Force, including service in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War, and dedicated his professional life to his country. Following his retirement, Martin embraced his love of travel and explored the world aboard cruise ships, gathering experiences and memories across the globe, and acing trivia contests at an astounding rate. Martin was predeceased by his parents, and his sisters, Marlene Cohen and her husband, Arthur, and Sandra Zeff and her husband, Gerald. He is survived by his brother, Stuart Foreman and his wife, Paula, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Services will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania, on Monday, Oct. 12, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friendship Circle, 1922 Murray Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15217.
