Mae (Boyer) Rosenberg

ROSENBERG: Mae (Boyer) Rosenberg; Passed away on Friday, January 10, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband J. Edgar Rosenberg. They were married in 1948 for 63 wonderful years. Mae is survived by son Marc (Amy) and daughter Barbara (Mitchell Kohn), grandchildren Lindsay Suttin (Jonathan) of Madison, WI and Evan Kohn (Catrina) of CT, and great grandchild Joshua Henry Suttin. Mae was the daughter of the late Bertha (Glick) and Julius Boyer. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh (Business Administration) in 1946. She was a partner in Rosenberg’s Department Store (Finleyville) with her dear husband Ed. In her spare time she enjoyed travel, tennis, golf, swimming, gardening, and knitting. She was a lifetime member of Beth Israel Center, Hadassah, and Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority, and a longtime volunteer at the Carnegie Museum Gift Shop. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc.
