KANTROWITZ: Kenneth H. Kantrowitz, On Thursday, Dec.18, 2025; beloved husband of the late Susan Hartmann Kantrowitz; loving father of Marci Kantrowitz Barnes, Ronald Hartmann Kantrowitz, and Pamela Kantrowitz Calig. Brother of the late Richard B. Kantrowitz. Proud grandfather of Harrison Calig, Henry Barnes, Ross Calig, Dylan Calig, Alana Calig, Willow Kantrowitz. Ken was a graduate of Taylor Allderdice High School and Carnegie Institute of Technology. He was a proud Air Force veteran and lifelong registered architect who designed and built his dream home in Mount Lebanon, where his three children grew up. Ken was an avid swimmer from his high school and college days. He competed in the Senior Olympics in Pittsburgh at the age of 65. He loved all Pittsburgh sports, ice cream, and especially his entire family. He and Sue loved vacationing in Hilton Head and going on cruises. Services at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Ave., Shadyside on Sunday, Dec. 21, 2025, at 2 p.m. Visitation one hour prior to services (1 p.m. – 2 p.m.). Interment Beth Abraham Cemetery.
