JRS annual meeting to feature donated artwork
Jewish Residential Services will hold their annual meeting Thursday, June 14, at 6:30 p.m. at Rodef Shalom Congregation. Dr. Kenneth S. Thompson, a public service psychiatrist, will speak on the topic, “Mind and Body: Integrating Health Care.”
The event will begin in Aaron Court with a dessert reception, with the program starting at 7:15 p.m.
The meeting will feature and exhibit artwork donated by Lila Hirsch Brody and her students for Jason Kramer Hall, which opened in the fall of 2011 to support 10 adults with intellectual disabilities living independently in Squirrel Hill. In addition, the Squirrel Hill Health Center will be offering blood pressure checks and other basic health screenings to attendees on their Health Center mobile unit.
There is no charge; reservations are requested and can be made at info@jrspgh.org or 412-325-0039.
