Joseph "Georgie" Stein
STEIN: On Saturday, June 8, 2013, Joseph “Georgie” Stein; Beloved husband of Myrna Silberman Stein. Beloved father of Ilysa (Stephen) Parker of Anchorage, AK and Hood River, OR and Richard (Karen) Stein of Forest Hills. Brother of the late Lenore Paul. Brother-in-law of Dan (Betty) Silberman, Florence (Phil) Dunst and Doris (Richard) Miller. “Pop-Pop” of Tara and Chelsea Stein. Also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Joseph was a graduate of Carnegie Tech in 1948. He was a former board member of the United Cerebral Palsy, Western Pennsylvania Wheelmen and a member of Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers. He was a founding member of Engineered Products Inc. (EPI). Mr. Stein was active in his college fraternity throughout the years and was instrumental in keeping everyone in touch with each other.
