LONDON: On Tuesday, February 21, 2012, Jack C.; Age 93. Beloved husband for sixty-nine years of Ruth Gordon London. Loving father of Alan (Elaine) London and Andrea London (Kenneth Boas). Devoted grandfather of Sara London of Pittsburgh and Daniel (Megan) London of Montclair, NJ. Doting great-grandfather of Lena and Ezra Rothschild and Sylvia London. Also survived by his sister-in-law, Florence London, of Columbus, OH and by nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, David and Fannie London, and by siblings and siblings-in-law, Ida and Arnold Berke, Morris London, Laurence and Jeanne London, Albert London, Ruth and Ervin Chell and Norman and Jean Gordon. Jack was a founding member of Temple Emanuel and served as its President. He was involved in many community activities, particularly the Hebrew Free Loan Association. He was active in the retail pharmacy business for many years. Services were held at Temple Emanuel of South Hills. Interment Shaare Torah Cemetery.
