Hieleen G. Steinberg
STEINBERG: Hieleen G. Steinberg of Pompano Beach, Fla., formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away on March 20, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Dr. Alter A. Steinberg, and sister of the late S. Morton Granovitz of Pittsburgh. Survived by her most adoring and loving family, devoted daughter Gloria Steinberg Briskin and her husband Howard Briskin of Arlington, Va., and her caring son, Arnold Y. Steinberg and wife Wendy of Boca Raton, Fla. She is also survived by her treasured and most loving granddaughters Erin Rebecca Briskin and Hannah Elizabeth Briskin of Philadelphia, and her compassionate helper Esther Saintil. Survivors also include brother-n-law Phillip Singer of New Jersey and sister-in-law Barbara Granovitz of Pittsburgh, and her most kind and thoughtful nieces and nephews and friends. Funeral services were held at Star of David Chapel, Pompano Beach, on Wednesday, March 22, 2017. Donations in Hieleen’s memory may be made to ORT America, ORTAmerica.org.
