Hal was the only child of Samuel and Bertha Mendlowitz. He is survived by his daughter Debi, sons David and Dan, four stepsisters Barbara, Lynne, Adele and Hope. Hal graduated from McKeesport High School and attended University of Pittsburgh. He spent the majority of his career at Wander’s of McKeesport. Hal loved golf, which he played as long as he could at Springrun Country Club in Bonita Springs, Florida.
