WHITMAN: On Sunday, January 4, 2009, Frommie Harris Whitman, beloved wife of Dr. Robert S. Whitman; loving mother of Douglas and Debra Whitman, Jill Whitman and the late Steven (Annetta) Whitman; dear grandmother of Madeline, Hannah, Taylor and Alexander Whitman. Daughter of the late Dora and Joseph Harris; sister of the late Ruth (Donald) Klein and David (Naomi) Harris; sister-in-law of Audrey W. Lederman and Barbb and Larry Grand, all of Florida and the late Lloyd (Shirley) Whitman; also survived by nieces, nephews and loyal companion Abbie. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Ave., Shadyside. Private interment at Beth Shalom Cemetery.
