Emma Lou Rosenstein

ROSENSTEIN: Emma Lou Rosenstein passed away after a long illness on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025. She was born on July 29, 1931, to the late James and Alberta (Blum) Smith. Emma Lou was the cherished wife of the late Eugene Rosenstein and the late Leonard Bass, beloved mother of Jerry (Susan) Bass, Craig (Susan) Bass, Carl (Brian) Bass Stofko and Jamie Bass Rose, and devoted grandmother of Jeremy (Carina) Bass and Sarah (Dustin Brown) Bass. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren and several nieces. Emma Lou was a longtime employee of CCAC-Boyce Campus. Post-retirement, she was an active volunteer at the VA Medical Center – Aspinwall. She was an active member of the Jewish War Veterans Ladies Auxiliary, serving multiple local and state offices before becoming national president from 2004-2005. The family wishes to thank the staff, both past and present, at Arden Courts of Monroeville for their compassionate care and support over the last four years. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 16, at 11 a.m. at Temple Sinai Memorial Park, 7740 Saltsburg Road, Plum Boro 15239.
