HEIT: On Tuesday, October 25, 2016, Doris A. Heit. Beloved wife of 54 years to Allan Heit. Loving mother of Laury Hoose, Rikki (Greg) Matthews and Harry (Lori) Heit. Sister of Dr. Meyer (Cheryl) Heyman and Zol (Kathy) Heyman. “Doey” of Zach Hoose (Megan Hollinger) and Abby, Amelia and Naomi Heit. Great-grandmother of Levi Hoose. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Doris worked at Charles Morris Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for many years. She started as a volunteer and retired as the director of activities after 27 years of service. She was loved by all and will be sorely missed. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc.
