Devorah Mirabel Hartz Bat Mitzvah

Devorah Mirabel Hartz will become a bat mitzvah on Saturday Aug. 26, 2023, at Beth Shalom. Devorah is the daughter of Andrea Hartz and Edward Hartz and older sister to Evan. She is the granddaughter of the late Donna Askin as well as the late Catherine and Gary Regnier. She is also the granddaughter of Dan and Ronna Askin of Pittsburgh as well as Dr. Leo and Debra Hartz of Tampa, Florida. A seventh grader at Pittsburgh Science and Technology Academy, Dev enjoys spending time with friends, swimming for JCC Sailfish, listening to music, summer camp at Emma Kaufman, and engaging others in thoughtful conversations that deepen her understanding of the world around her.
