Corinne M. Siegel
SIEGEL: Corinne M. Siegel, age 92, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Charleroi, died Saturday, April 30, 2016, in St. Clair Memorial Hospital. She was born a daughter of the late David and Sophie Moltz. Mrs. Siegel was a graduate of Allderdice High School and attended Duquesne University. She was a member of Beth Israel Congregation and Temple Emanuel. Mrs. Siegel, owned and operated, along with her husband, Eugene, who died April 7, 2000, Gene’s Sportswear, in Charleroi, for 40 years. She enjoyed painting and ceramics, which she learned at the age of 80 and was active and volunteered in many groups for many years. Surviving are a son, Stephen (Jodi) Siegel, of Pittsburgh; four grandchildren, Shana (Aaron) Colwes, Aaron (Amy) Siegel, Sadye and Margaux Miller; three great-grandchildren, David and Lucy Colwes and Sloane Siegel; three nephews Noah, Simon and David Moltz; and a sister-in-law, Carol Moltz. Deceased is a brother, Herman Moltz. Services were held at Piatt & Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Ave. Washington, with Rabbi Mark Mahler officiating.
