British-born Pittsburgh-based musician releases new song
Joel Lindsey shares pandemic-inspired song
Pittsburgh-based professional musician Joel Lindsey released “Take Some Love and Pass It On,” a song inspired by lessons of the pandemic.
Following a year of quarantine and loss, Lindsey, a British-born member of Congregation Beth Shalom, explained why he decided to write the song now.
“I really believe in this tune,” he said. “It has a positive message that speaks to everyone affected by this crisis.”
Lindsey recorded the song in his home studio on Pittsburgh’s North Side and filmed a video at Pittsburgh’s Gateway Center.
Nearly a year ago, at the start of the pandemic, Lindsey recorded and filmed “The World Will Heal in Time.”
