Blaire Kramer
KRAMER: Blaire Kramer, on August 23, the former Bunny Wedner, beloved wife of the late Marvin Kramer; loving Mother of Barbara (Brent) Weiner and devoted mother of the late Jason Kramer Wedner. Blaire attended the University of Southern California and was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. She sold advertising for the Rueben Donnelly Corporation and then became the administrator for the Center for Human Development. It was in an “I’m OK – you’re OK” group at the center that she decided to be called Blaire. She was very charitable and contributed to many Jewish organizations. But she was most compassionate toward charities that helped children. Her favorite charities were the Children’s Institute, St. Jude’s Hospital and Smile Train. Her most favorite organization was Jewish Residential Services. She did a service on their board of directors and through them created a memorial for her son by having one of their buildings named for him, Jason Kramer Hall. Those who knew her well marveled at her concern for those people she referred to as the “Have Nots.” Those who loved her will cherish the memory of her infectious laugh, her quick wit, her keen sense of humor and her vibrant personality. Private arrangements. Memorial contributions may be sent to Jewish Residential Services, at 4905 Fifth Avenue, 15213 or a donor’s choice of charity.
