Betty Kushner

Betty Kushner of Margate, FL formerly of Pittsburgh, PA passed away peacefully on March 31 in Florida with her family at her side. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years Jacob and is survived by her daughter Carol Kushner of Coconut Creek, FL, her son Norm Kushner and daughter in law Andy Tumen Kushner both of Manchester, NH. She is also survived by grandchildren Aaron and Jennifer Markowitz of Cranberry Township, PA, Scott Kushner and Jaime Palter of Montreal Canada, Andy Markowitz and Arly Menard of Miami FL and Kenny Kushner and Lauren Diamond of New York City. She is also survived by two great grandchildren Jack and Leo Markowitz of Cranberry Township, PA and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Betty was active in many Jewish communal organizations including B’nai Brith Women where she served as a chapter and district president, Hadassah, and the Jewish Federations of Pittsburgh and Broward County.
