ZOLOT: Bernard Zolot of Pittsburgh, formerly of Raleigh, N.C., passed away on Monday, November 9, 2015, at the age of 93. A native of Coney Island, Brooklyn, N.Y., Bernie was the son of the late Dora and Abraham Zolot. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corp during World War II, attended the University of Michigan and was employed by Dravo Corporation as a civil engineer for almost 40 years. Bernie was the beloved husband of 44 years of the late Pearl (Foreman) Zolot. Cherished father of Beverly (Roger) Conti of Miami , Fla., Helene (Michael) Kramer of Amherst, N.H., Stuart (Rita) Zolot of Mt. Lebanon, Pa., and Diane (Eugene) Rotberg of Raleigh, N.C. Beloved grandfather of Ryan (Mary), Emily (Matthew), Tracy (Stephen), Suzanna, David, Jeffrey and Rachel (Benjamin). Brother of Helen Goldberg of Florida, and twin brother of the late Vivian Press of New York. Brother-in-law of Bernetta Braun Tennent of Illinois. Great-grandfather of Benjamin, Hannah and Adalyn. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc. Interment West View Cemetery of Rodef Shalom Congregation.
