Ava Rose Jones Bat Mitzvah Announcement
Ava Rose Jones will celebrate becoming a bat mitzvah on Aug. 29, 2026, at the Jewish Community Center. She will be surrounded by her proud parents, Jenny and Chad Jones; her brother, Mason; her grandparents, Pam and Bruce Silberman and Karen and Gary Jones; and many beloved family members and friends. Ava is a seventh-grade student at Dorseyville Middle School. She enjoys swimming, spending time with her friends and being active in her community. As part of her bat mitzvah journey, Ava chose to focus on helping others through a community service project benefiting the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh. She is collecting new swim goggles and swim caps to support individuals who may not otherwise have access to these important items. Through this project, Ava hopes to help make swimming more accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Ava is grateful to celebrate this meaningful milestone with the people she loves and looks forward to continuing to make a positive impact in her community.
