SELKOWITZ: On Friday, May 29, 2009, Rose L. Rubin Selkowitz, 96, dearly loved wife of the late Harry A. Rubin and the late Jesse Selkowitz; cherished mother of Irene and Harry Exler, Laverne and Allen Hoffman and Lee and Patti Rubin; daughter of the late Jacob and Mollie Smith; adored grandmother of Mark and Robin Exler, Michael and Renee Exler, Robert Exler, Evan Aussenberg, Jon Aussenberg, Hilary Aussenberg, Jason Rubin and Justin Rubin; adorable great-grandmother of Jamie Exler, Andrew Exler, Jared Exler, Grant Exler, Grace Exler, Katy Levin and Erica Levin; sister of Sylvia Davis, Della Weiss, Herman and Marlene Smith and the late Ethel Ritt; also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Ave., Shadyside. Interment Beth Abraham Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Jewish Association on Aging, 200 JHF Dr., Pgh., PA 15217.
