TRACHTENBERG: On Sunday, December 21, 2014, Robert S. Trachtenberg, Age 83. Beloved husband of Natalie Trachtenberg. Beloved father of David L. (Brenda) Trachtenberg of Des Moines, IA, and Lynn R. (Ronald) Richards Jr. of Scott Twp. Brother of Elaine (late Stanley) Sachs of Miami, FL. Grandfather of Matthew Richards, Jason Richards, Jordan Trachtenberg and Robin (Neil) Gaussa. Also two great-grandchildren. Bob served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War as crew chief on a tanker airplane and became a mechanical engineer in industry. He was active with the Boy Scouts of America and Junior Achievement. Services were held at Temple Emanuel of South Hills, 1250 Bower Hill Road, Mt. Lebanon.
