We remember when

In the write-up on Esther Lappidus, there is no mention of her earliest acting gigs at the YM&WHA Playhouse. For the play “The Man Came to Dinner” the stage crew of Allen Pinsker and Code Gomberg had to build a special “mummy case” to fit Esther’s role in the play. This would have been in ’48 or ’49.
