Flags fly in Jewish Pittsburgh cemetery

The Beth Shalom Cemetery Men’s Club placed new U.S.
flags at the graves of all the veterans at the congregation cemetery prior to this year’s Memorial Day. The ritual, which the men’s club repeats every year, is done at Jewish cemeteries elsewhere in the area as well. It honors the men and women of Jewish Pittsburgh who served their country.
