Ellen S. Yaffe and Richard D. Kalson (formerly of Pittsburgh) were married in Madison, Wisconsin by Rabbi Sarah Berman of Central Synagogue (New York) on July 12, 2026. Ellen is the daughter of Barbara Y. Mitchell, Esq. (Dr. John Mitchell) of Madison and the late Byron Yaffe of Rockville, Maryland. Rick is the son of Donna B. Mullaugh (the late Michael Mullaugh) of Boca Raton and the late Charles L. Kalson of Pittsburgh. Ellen is a managing director in the financial services sector at Russell Reynolds Associates in New York and Rick is a shareholder in the construction law practice group at Cozen O’ Connor in New York. The wedding ceremony was preceded by a wedding blessing by Rabbi Joel Mosbacher of Temple Shaaray Tefila in New York. The couple reside in the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
