Edward A. Sondheimer

SONDHEIMER: Edward A. Sondheimer, 67, of Chippewa Township, died Friday June 4, 2021. Born March 10, 1954, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Harold D. and Naomi (Soodik) Sondheimer. He was the owner of Tri-State Equipment Company in Beaver Falls.
Ed will be remembered as a generous giver to the local community, donating restaurant supplies and money to many organizations including the Beaver County YMCA, McGuire Memorial Home, and many others too numerous to name. He also was an avid supporter of the Larry Bruno Foundation.
Ed was immensely proud of his Beaver Falls roots and was a pillar of the community. One of his proudest moments was when he was highlighted by Larry Bruno, his high school football coach, as a model football player.
He was the heart and soul of his family, never missing a family function.
He was an incredible brother, uncle, and great-uncle, and is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Norman and Emily Sondheimer, Avon, Connecticut; a sister and brother-in-law, Marci and David Landis, Natick, Massachusetts; nieces and nephew, Jessica Sondheimer, Jonathan and Shiri Sondheimer, Haviva Landis, and Bina Landis; great-nephew and great-niece Isidor and Zora Sondheimer; many loving cousins, and wonderful friends.
Friends were received Tuesday, June 8, from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, hillandkunselman.com, 3801 4th Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA 15010.
Interment followed at Agudath Achim Cemetery, Patterson Township.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Beaver County YMCA, the McGuire Memorial Home, or The Larry Bruno Foundation. PJC
