SAMOWICH: Allen J. Samowich; On Wednesday, January 28, 2014; Beloved husband of the late Anna M. “Sissy” Samowich. Loving father of Robert (Bobbie) Samowich of Meriden, Conn., and Steven M. (Tegan) Samowich of Arlington, Va. Son of the late Lena and Frank Samowich. Brother of the late Florence Samowich and the late Kenneth and Irene Samowich. Also survived by nine cherished grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and beloved friends, Howie and Cheryl Baskin. Mr. Samowich served in the Southwest Pacific during World War II. Services were held at Temple Emanuel of South Hills. Interment Temple Emanuel Section of Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
