Shoshana Leah Margolis Bat Mitzvah Announcement
Shoshana Leah Margolis will be called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah at Rodef Shalom Congregation on May 31, 2025. Shoshana is the amazing daughter of Jessica Margolis and Shane Pastura. Her proud grandparents are Steven and the late Naomi Margolis, and Raymond and Susan Pastura. Shoshana is a seventh grader at Penn Middle School, where she is involved in the drama club and chorus. Shoshana loves musical theatre, talking on the phone, hanging out with her friends, shopping, and being with her family. For her b’mitzvah project, Shoshana has chosen to make/design care baskets called Shoshana Smiles, for the kids going through cancer at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Shoshana chose this project because the brother of one of her best friends passed away from brain cancer at the young age of five years old. Shoshana has seen what a lasting impact this has had on her friend’s family and wanted to do something. Shoshana has dreams of becoming a middle school math teacher.
