Chronicle to receive 4 Simon Rockower Awards

AJPA conference takes place in Pittsburgh June 22-24

The Pittsburgh Jewish Chronicle will be recognized for its work in 2024 with four Simon Rockower Awards for Excellence in Jewish Journalism from the American Jewish Press Association.

The winning stories were written by Staff Writers Adam Reinherz and David Rullo, and freelance journalists Deborah Weisberg and Justin Vellucci.

The exact category and award placements will remain undisclosed until the awards banquet held in conjunction with the AJPA Annual Conference which will be held in Pittsburgh from Sunday, June 22 through Tuesday, June 24, 2025.

The AJPA received 1,160 Rockower entries this year. PJC
