SISSELSKY: On Friday, April 3, 2026, Ethel Sisselsky of Longwood, Florida, formerly of Pittsburgh and Davie, Florida, just three months shy of her 100th birthday. Ethel was happily married for 55 years to her loving husband, the late Enoch Sisselsky. Beloved mother of Dr. Nancy Hoffman (Joel Harris) of Pittsburgh and Lee Sisselsky (Sharon) of Longwood, Florida. Cherished grandmother (aka “Greffel”) of Dana Gitell (Seth) of Natick, Massachusetts, Wendy Singer (Mitch) of Skokie, Illinois, and Dr. Carla Easter (Paul) of Gainesville, Florida. Great-grandmother of Max and Eli Gitell, Josie and Sophie Singer, and Miles and Sadie Easter. Ethel made many friends over her long lifetime. She was a lifelong avid reader and enjoyed playing mah-jongg, Rummikub and cards. She was a wonderful cook who left many recipes that will be handed down through the generations. Services and interment were in Florida. Donations may be made to the Jewish National Fund, where Ethel worked for several years, or to a charity of the donor’s choice. PJC
