Chronicle Web site has new features

You get The Chronicle delivered to your door; now get it delivered to your inbox as well.
Since its launch in late September, The Chronicle’s new Web site,
thejewishchronicle.net has been adding new features all the time.
The newest feature offered to visitors of the site is the ability to receive a weekly e-mail when the Web site is fully updated for the new week’s issue.
Now you can be notified when the site is updated for that week’s issue and know when your favorite blogger or columnist has posted a new article.
It’s free and easy. All you have to do is log onto thejewishchronicle.net and register.
Once you register, The Chronicle will send you an e-mail with headlines for that week’s issue, and updates to the Web-only content.
With your registration you will have access to all of the stories published weekly in The Chronicle and special Web-only content available to registered users.
Those registered with thejewishchronicle.net can now post classified ads directly to the Web site. The deadline to post classifieds is still noon on Monday for that week’s issue. Classified ads posted on the Web site will also be put in the print version of The Chronicle.
In addition to the classifieds, users can read blogs by the editors, view our featured video and the newest feature, browse a community photo gallery.
While the print version of the paper can only hold a set number of photos, the Web site is ready for pictures from around the community. You can e-mail photos to announcements@thejewishchronicle.net. Photos will run for one week on the Web site and are free to publish on the site. There will still be a fee for them to run in the print copy of The Chronicle.
There is much more on the horizon for The Jewish Chronicle’s Web site. Weekly video updates with a Pittsburgh connection are planned to begin soon as well as other interactive features.
