Chronicle to receive 11 Simon Rockower Awards

The Pittsburgh Jewish Chronicle will be recognized for its work in 2025 with 11 Simon Rockower Awards for Excellence in Jewish Journalism from the American Jewish Press Association.

The winning stories were written by Editor Toby Tabachnick, Senior Staff Writers Adam Reinherz and David Rullo, and freelance journalists Emma Riva and Deborah Weisberg.

The exact categories and award placements will remain undisclosed until the awards banquet held in conjunction with the AJPA Annual Conference in New York City from Tuesday, June 2 to Friday, June 5, 2026.
