Understanding Adolescent Challenges When Religion and Mental Health Collide
description: Making sure our children are mentally healthy is always a priority for parents. We want to see them flourish, and good mental health is an important component for consistent growth.
What do we do as parents when we see our kids struggling with their mental health and well being? How do we help them? What happens when the best care for our child’s mental health seems to be in conflict with religion/halacha?
This discussion will cover these topics as well as focusing on the importance of having sensitivity, understanding, and an approach when dealing with a child who is struggling with religion and recognizing what role mental health may be playing in these struggles.
