Squirrel Hill Looking Back, Marching Forward

Squirrel Hill Stands Against Gun Violence and CeaseFirePA will host “Looking Back, Marching Forward” on the six-month anniversary of the October 27, 2018, Tree of Life building shooting. At 1:30 p.m., community and faith leaders will speak at Temple Sinai, 5505 Forbes Ave. to honor the victims of the October shooting and talk about how to reduce gun violence. At about 2:30 p.m., the group will march to Schenley Park, where a tree will be planted as a symbol of the Squirrel Hill community’s continued hope and belief in the future.
