NCJW PGH Annual Meeting: Voting Rights & Our Democracy

June 6 , 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

NCJW PGH Annual Meeting: Voting Rights & Our Democracy
description: Voter registration and ID laws, ballot access, census participation, modern voting machines… do you know about the issues that will impact the 2020 election? Do you know how can you get involved now to help protect our democracy?

NCJW Pittsburgh’s annual meeting features a women-led panel discussion to raise awareness of systemic efforts to deprive people—especially people of color, women, individuals with disabilities, and LGBTQ individuals, of the right to vote and curtail their political power—and identify opportunities for you to join the fight to remove barriers to the ballot before Election Day.

After the panel, stay with us to honor members of the NCJW Pittsburgh community and learn how you can get involved this year.

Doors open at 6:30 pm for a dessert & wine reception in the Palm Court.

Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door.
