Noted genealogist and Pittsburgh native Israel Pickholtz will speak about how his persistent research enabled him to solve a family mystery. Entitled ‘Why Did My Father Know That His Grandfather Had An Uncle Selig?’ this entertaining and compelling lecture will detail how he was finally able to put together the missing piece of his family tree using traditional sources as well as newly available genetic genealogy. Pickholtz will also be available to guide genealogists with their research. His presentation will take place at the Heinz History Center 3rd Floor Multi-Purpose Room 1212 Smallman St Pittsburgh PA 15222. Free and open to the community. Refreshments will be served.
