Delve into topics surrounding the Hebrew Bible\, the life and times of Amos the Prophet\, the Battle of Lachish and the Theology of Jerusalem\, and more. In addition\, Dr. Tappy will present a series of major inscriptions related to Israel\, but were written by scribes and rulers in multiple powers outside of Israel. The historical information recorded in the inscriptions you will study with Dr. Tappy provide an in-depth look at Israel’s history throughout the period of the Hebrew judges and kings\, giving you the chance to study archaeological proof of biblical stories cherished in Judaism.    \nThis course is presented in blessed memory of Fran Lefkowitz\, whose passion for Biblical Archaeology inspired the education of others during her life.
